How to Autopost Your Blog to Facebook



Writing a blog is great fun. Getting people to read your blog can be a bigger challenge. One of the easiest ways to share your latest blog post is to notify your friends and followers on social networking sites. If you have a Facebook account, you can use the NetworkedBlogs app from third-party developer Ninva to automatically import your blog posts to the Facebook notes section of the site.

Instructions

    • 1. Log in to your Facebook account.
    • 2. Use the search box to locate the app "NetworkedBlogs."
    • 3. From the app, click on the link "Register a Blog" and input the details for your blog. Include the blog name, URL and description. Be sure to also input topics so that your blog is easy to find. The form allows you to input three different categories or topics.
    • 4. Once your blog is registered, click on Edit Details to add your RSS or ATOM feed. This is an important step as it's what triggers NetworkedBlogs to gather the details of your latest blog post.
    • 5. Go back to your newly created profile page on NetworkedBlogs and select "Syndication," located on the top right. You'll need to check the box that says "auto-publish to personal profile" for your latest blog posts to show up on your wall.
    • 6. Publish a test blog post to make sure your syndication is working correctly. Each time you create a new blog post, it automatically posts on your Facebook profile wall.




Tips & Warnings

  • NetworkedBlogs also allows you to follow other blogs, and post or autopost their feeds to your wall.
  • You may also want to take a few moments to fill out additional details on your new Networked Blogs profile page. There's an About Me section that is great for adding more information regarding you and what your blog is about.
